Learning programs are available at U.S. ski and snowboard resorts all winter and many of the best deals are in January. If you are a newcomer, Bring a Friend along and learn together. This year, we invite skiers and snowboarders to take the Bring a Friend Challenge. Even if you have just taken a lesson yourself, bring newcomers to the snow and help them sign up for lessons from professional instructors. The Challenge starts December 1, 2012 and runs through March 17, 2013. You can win some cool prizes like trips to Utah, Sun Valley and Smugglers' Notch (East coast residents).
