Contest Rules
All potential participants are requested to read carefully the general rules for the contest, as outlined below. Submission of an entry implies acceptance of these rules.

1. General
• All entries must be accompanied with the entrant's name and email. Winners will be requested to provide additional contact information.
• Participation: The contest is open to those 18 years of age or older. Excluded from participation are staff and next-of-kin of personnel employed by sponsor Company or other sponsors of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month.
• Deadline for submission: all the entries must be received by January 31 at midnight All entries arriving later will be disqualified without any possible appeal. There will be no exceptions.
• Entries will not be returned.
• While all possible care will be taken in handling submissions, the organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month do not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to entries.
• Participation in the Contest implies agreement with these General Rules.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Entrants are neither encouraged nor required to purchase any product or service in order to enter the Contest.
2. To Enter.
Only one entry per person will be accepted (any subsequent entries will not be considered). To enter, each entrant must complete the following steps:
(A) Read and agree with these official Contest rules - Submission of an entry into this Contest confirms your agreement with these Contest rules;
3. Contest Deadlines.
Entries must be submitted and received by January 31, 2011 at midnight EST, to be eligible to win. Sponsors are not responsible for any lost, stolen or undelivered entries, or any entries not received within the applicable Contest periods mentioned above. The Sponsors reserve the right (a) to suspend or cancel the Contest in their sole discretion if a computer virus, hacker, bug or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the Contest, and (b) to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation date. Organizers and sponsors further reserve the right to modify the rules of the Contest in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given.
4. Winner Selection.
One (1) prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received per prize.
Winner Notification. An entry will be selected on February 3, 2011. The winner will be notified by e-mail within five (5) business days of winning. If the winner does not respond within five (5) business days after the date of notice, an alternate winner may be selected. Organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month shall not be liable for (1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner (2) entries and responses to winner notifications which are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer or technical error of any kind. The winner will be given five (5) business days from the first day of notification to respond to claim prize(s). A non-response by the winner or non-receipt of notification response after the specified five (5) business days will be considered a forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries.
Odds of Winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Entries will not be limited, except as expressly provided above.
Miscellaneous. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month & the Head Ski Company, which are final in all matters relating to this Contest. Prize is nontransferable. Arrangements for the fulfillment of prize will be made by the organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and the Head Ski Company. Receipt of any prize is conditioned upon compliance with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Winners of prize will be solely responsible for payment of all federal, state and local taxes.
Releases. By participating, entrants agree that the organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and the Head Ski Company and those involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of this promotion and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Contest, including entry and participation in this Contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this Contest, they will indemnify organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Sponsors from any and all such claims, including the attorneys' fees related thereto. Organizers of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Sponsors shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading as part of this Contest. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This Contest shall be governed by Colorado law. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree that Colorado courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contest.
Official Rules and Winner's List. The Participants' names and submissions may be posted on www.skiandsnowboardmonth.org
General Conditions. This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. In the event of non-compliance by the winner with the official rules of this Contest, an alternative winner may be awarded the respective prize. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. All prizes will be awarded. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes on prizes. All incidental expenses will be the responsibility of the Winner.
