Learn To programs are taught through station teaching which means you start at Station 1, and as you successfully complete the station, you move onto the next station until you’ve successfully completed all stations. Upon successful completion of the stations, your instructor will sign your progress card which you’ll then exchange for a daily lift ticket to enjoy the rest of your day on the mountain.
The day of your reservation, go to the Rental Center with your Learn To Confirmation (mailed to you) and confirmation number to check in at the Rental Center registers. You will receive your progress card and rental form, then pick up your equipment, and Station 1 begins outside the Rental Center slope side exit door. The Rental Center opens at 8:00 A.M., the lesson beings at 9:00 A.M. and instructors will remain on the slopes until noon. Participants must check in at the Rental Center no later than 9:45 A.M. as the last group of participants will begin the lesson at 10:00.

Program: Ski Utah Learn to Ski Program – First-time local skiers only. A local is defined as anyone with a current Utah driver's license. Without a Utah driver's license, a photo ID accompanied by a current Utah property tax form, Utah utility bill or Utah business paycheck stub will be accepted
Venue Location: Deer Valley Resort Clinic Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Maximum: Limited to the first 55 registrants Participants: First-time skiers (never, ever skied before)
Age: Participants must be 13 years or older. Anyone under 18 years, a parent or guardian must sign a ski Rental Agreement and Acknowledgement of Risks Agreement the day of the program, prior to the start of clinic.
Cost: $45 for the package, per participant ($15 for a lift ticket, $15 for ski rental equipment and $15 for the clinic)
What is included in your package: Ski lesson (clinic), lift ticket, ski rentals and locker/basket check storage. Helmets are optional and available at no additional charge.
What to Bring/Wear: Appropriate ski attire (pants and a jacket), gloves, goggles/sunglasses and sunscreen.
Reservations: Must be made prior to January 29, 2015, by calling Deer Valley Resort at 888-754-8477 or 435-645-6648, referring to “Ski Utah Learn to Ski Program.” One lesson (clinic) per participant. A valid credit card is required for all reservations.
Check-in Time: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Anyone checking in after 8:30 a.m. is not guaranteed a lesson and will not be able to receive the discounted lift ticket or ski rentals.
Check-in Location: Snow Park Lodge, lower level Basket Check area. There will be Deer Valley Skier Services and Marketing representatives meeting the group and making sure participants know where to go for lesson and lift ticket.
No-show and Cancellation Policy: Must cancel before 5 p.m. (MST) two days prior to start of the program; otherwise, a No-show/Cancellation fee of $45 per reservation will be charged to the credit card provided.

Learn to ski or snowboard for $45 this January. The beginner package (LittleCat Package) includes LittleCat Ticket, 2-hour Group Lesson, and Basic Rental Package. Standard Little Cat Package rate is $89, so this is a 49% savings.

Vail Mountain is offering a 3-day beginner series including lesson and lift ticket (for ski or snowboard) at $340. KOAT 7 in cooperation with Ski New Mexico and nine (9) of its resorts are pleased to again join the nationwide efforts of “Learn a Winter Sports Month” this January.
More than 5,000 children have benefited from the KOAT Kids Learn to Ski & Snowboard program-- now entering its fifth year. Jay Peak makes the beginner experience as intuitive and fun as possible. It starts with a complimentary two-hour group lesson with every rental package. The lessons are offered three times a day to guarantee time on snow with a professional instructor.
And for the third year in a row, all beginner lessons are taught through terrain-based learning. Terrain-what? It's a learning technique that utilizes sculpted snow in the beginner area to help in the learning process. The resort uses a mini-halfpipe, rollers, banked turns and more to create an environment where the terrain helps guide the skier or rider so they can progress faster and focus on having fun. Holiday Valley - Ellicottville, NY
Explore Our Mountain Beginners Package: $60 during the day, $40 at night.
Holiday Valley is offering a beginner 1.5 hour lesson with rental equipment and lift ticket for beginner's area (magic carpet, handle tow and Creekside quad). Boot fitting, and explanation of how to use the equipment is available. The program is available to those age 12 and up. Night lessons originate in the main rental shop and lesson is 1 hour.
Special January Package:
Holiday Valley has two offers.
1) “Bring a Friend” - Buy one Learn to Ski or Snowboard Package and get the second package free, age 6 and up.
2) Stay at the Inn at Holiday Valley midweek during the month of January and get a free learn to ski or snowboard package for all beginners in the room, age 6 and up. Available for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Includes continental breakfast and use of indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Lodging nights include Sunday through Thursday, excluding January 18, 2015.
